This beautiful Key West beach wedding at Casa Marina in Key West was breeze to photograph because everyone and everything looked so sharp and perfect thanks to Kelly’s ideas and all vendors that have put those ideas to life. Check out their pics below and see for yourself.
how did you meet – We met one fateful night in downtown Fort Lauderdale as our friends mingled amongst each other at a local bar called Tarpon Bend. We began dating about 2 years after forming a friendship around the same social circles and recreational kickball leagues.
who proposed and how – Ryan proposed at the Full Moon party at Morada Bay on our 4 year anniversary. It was sunset before dinner with the sun setting on the bay, and crowds of people were taking sunset pictures. We stopped to take one last picture and Ryan got down on a knee.
wedding theme/inspiration– garden/romantic/rustic
why Key West – Key West is a city we have always loved and it embodies our personalities. We love the laid back tropical feel of the town.
why Filda Konec Photography – We chose Filda Konec because we saw their previous wedding portfolio and based on the quality of those photos and the cost, we were happy that they were available for our wedding. The familiarity with the property and the area in general was also a factor as we wanted those incredible memories captured by someone who knew the best ways to shoot around Casa Marina.
what’s planned for the future – We have plans to travel to Europe and Thialand, as well as some other US adventures before settling into a home of our own, and starting a family.
best moment of your wedding day – The best moment of our wedding day was receiving such a wonderful reception from our family and friends, their presence made the day very special and their well wishes and advice for the future will guide us into the future.
advice you would give to future brides who are planning a wedding/elopement in Key West – Make the most of the time in Key West and ensure that you and your guests experience all facets of the island, from the sunsets to the nightlife, the city offers so much to visitors.
