Whether you’re planning to pop the question at golden hour on a quiet beach or just want some fun, laid-back engagement photos – I’m here to make it happen (without making it weird).

My goal is simple: keep things relaxed and natural so you two can actually enjoy yourselves. Laugh, be goofy, kiss awkwardly – whatever feels like you. I’ll gently guide you when needed but mostly let you be in the moment.

If it’s a surprise proposal, I’ll be hanging back in stealth mode until you drop to one knee. After the tears, hugs, and “OMG!” settle, I’ll pop out of hiding, say hey, and we’ll roll right into a sweet little photo session to celebrate.

All of your images will be edited and delivered in a private online gallery. You’ll get every photo in high-res with print rights – perfect for sharing, printing, or turning into fridge magnets your parents will brag about.

Wardrobe And Location Tips

To help you prepare for your session, I provide wardrobe and location suggestions. I’ll guide you on clothing choices that complement your personality and the desired look. Additionally, I’ll recommend locations that align with your vision, whether it’s the hectic vibe of downtown or the serene beauty of a beach.

Online Gallery With Your Photos

After the photoshoot, I select and edit the best images to showcase your beauty and personality. The final photos will be delivered to you in a secure online gallery. It is a user-friendly platform that allows you to conveniently review, select, and download your favorite images, and optionally purchase any print products.

Your questions answered

We can shoot at a location of your choice, or if you prefer, I can suggest one that I think would be perfect. Just a heads-up though – not every resort and hotel in the Florida Keys permits photo sessions on their grounds, and some might even require a site fee.

Yes, I do! I’m more than happy to travel anywhere in the Florida Keys to you, and for engagement sessions, there’s no additional charge for travel in the Lower Keys – up to a 40-mile round trip.

The ideal time to take pretty photos is about an hour before sunset or early in the morning around sunrise. During these times, the sun is much softer and flattering, and it’s usually not scorching hot either, saving us from squinting or excessive heat during the shoot.

While I can’t control the weather, and sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, I will work closely with you to reschedule your photo session to a more suitable day or time. Just keep in mind that the weather in South Florida can change rapidly, and what may initially seem like a stormy day could turn into a beautiful one with a breathtaking sunset, especially during the summer.

I recommend avoiding distracting patterns, large brand logos, and loud colors like bright red, orange, and green. Instead, opt for more subtle colors and simple patterns. Pastel colors are a great choice, and you don’t have to worry about matching your partner’s colors. The clothes you wear for your photoshoot will set the tone for your entire photos, so choose wisely, however, try not to overthink it and just wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable.

Of course! All the photos are cropped, straightened, and color-corrected so they reflect my photography style, which you can see through my website and social media. I do edit minor blemishes but I do not offer any extensive retouching work, sorry!

Yes, the gallery where I deliver the photos offers a wide variety of high-quality print products so be sure to check them out. As much as I enjoy the digital era, there’s something truly special about holding a printed photograph in your hand or proudly displaying a canvas in your living room. It’s a whole different experience compared to letting all those beautiful memories gather dust on your computer or phone. It’s very easy to forget about them!

I believe in a balanced approach. While I capture spontaneous, candid moments as they happen, I also guide and pose you when needed to create beautiful portraits.

To secure your date, I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer. Once these are received, your session date is officially reserved on my calendar.

When choosing Fort Zachary State Park for your photos, please note that a state park photo permit is required. I can help you secure this permit to ensure a seamless and worry-free experience at this popular location.
